Our Lavender

The lavender we grow is an hybrid, whose commercial name is lavandin.
Lavandin is a cross between two species of the genus lavandula, with a high yield in essential oil.
The essential oil of our own production, as certified by the Department of Agricultural, Food and Environmental Sciences of the Università Politecnica delle Marche in 2018, has the following composition (principal components:  annual variations are possible):
Eucalyptol 10.86%
Linalool 41.52%
Camphor 12.34%
Terpinen-4-ol 4.44%
Linalyl acetate 11.49%
1-borneol 4.37%
